Coda.
I saw a postcard-sized envelope in the mail when I got in last night. I seized it and saw my doctor's name on the outside.

"If your annual exam turns up abnormal again, we will let you know," my new doctor had said. "...And yeah, I really would like a copy of the comic book. Thanks!"

So now this postcard. I 'd thought no news was good news.

I tore open the envelope in an ugly way.

Dear ____Vex____,

[ x ] The result of your recent annual exam has been returned by the pathologist as normal. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our office.

[ ] The following laboratory work, studies, or other tests were performed at your last visit with the following results:
